Dr Sanaa Kader qualified at Leeds Dental Institute in 2007, with an honour’s degree. She spent eight years gaining experience in London, and in 2016 moved to Leeds, and subsequently became the owner of Indigo Dental.
She enjoys building patient smiles with a restorative-orthodontic approach, and placing dental implants to give people their confidence back.
She is a member of the Association of Dental Implantology, the International Team for Implantology, and the College of General Dentistry.

She enjoys keeping up to date with her knowledge and skills, and can often be found attending courses to further this.
In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her husband and two children, and enjoys travelling.

Feroz Rafiq

Business Manager

Feroz joined the practice in December 2017 and has made considerable changes since his arrival. He is a well-liked team member and is everyone’s first port of call when something needs to be done! He enjoys travelling, spending time with his kids and watching cricket in his free time. Feroz will also provide information for arranging patient finance.

Dr Glesni Hitchens

Associate Dentist

Glesni qualified as a Dentist from the University of Manchester in 2016, gaining undergraduate awards in Restorative Dentistry and Oral Surgery.

Following graduation, she spent time working at Alder Hey children’s hospital and various trauma/oncology units within the North West to gather experience across a number of dental specialties. During this time, she qualified as a member of the Royal College of Surgeons and presented at national and international conferences.

Alongside providing general dentistry Glesni is currently furthering her training in adult orthodontics and facial aesthetics.

Outside of work, Glesni enjoys walking her new puppy, following her home nation Wales in the rugby and spending time with family and friends

Alison Durrans

Head Receptionist

Alison is head receptionist and has been with Indigo Dental since 2013. She loves chatting to the patients and making them feel welcome. She is also heavily involved with the administrative side of reception. Alison is married with three daughters and four grandchildren. In her spare time she loves travelling and spending time with friends and family.

Megan Hosty

Treatment Co-Ordinator

Megan graduated from Leeds Beckett University in 2019 with a Masters degree in Interdisciplinary Psychology. She joined Indigo Dental in October 2023 as the Patient Care Coordinator and since has learned lots about the patient journey within dentistry. She enjoys getting to know patients and supporting them throughout their treatment. She takes pride in seeing patients feel good and gain confidence about their smiles.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter and visiting family abroad.

Abigail Craven | Dental Hygienist & Therapist

BSc (Hons) - Leeds 2023, GDC No: 270821

Abigail comes from an extensive background in the dental industry. She qualified as a Dental Hygienist and therapist from the University of Leeds in 2023 with a Class I Honours degree. At university, Abigail earned several awards for her academic excellence, including the Research Prize for her dissertation about autistic patients’ dental experiences.

Abigail lives by the motto “knowledge is power” and enjoys empowering her patients with the knowledge and skills they need to own their oral health journey. She is a member of The British Society of Dental Hygiene & Therapy and The British Association of Dental Therapists. She likes to keep up with their newsletters and professional development opportunities.

She enjoys spending time in nature, keeping fit by swimming and running, and looking after her pets.

Shrinkhala Chhetri | Dental Hygienist

Shrinkhala graduated from Nepal as a Dentist in 2012 and practised there until she moved to the United Kingdom in 2019. After moving, she decided to start a career as a Dental hygienist. She got registered as a Dental hygienist in 2022. She joined Indigo Dental Practice in January 2023. She strongly advocates maintaining good oral hygiene and helps patients achieve the same.

She is interested in facial aesthetics and wants to get further training.

She likes going for walks with her two kids and cycling in her leisure time.

Lisa McHale

Lead Dental Nurse, GDC number 122815

Lisa qualified as a dental nurse in 2006, and then trained to be a Lead Nurse. Over the years Lisa has trained many dental nurses, and has supported various dental specialists.

Lisa particularly enjoys implant nursing, and enjoys seeing the nurses she has trained reach their full potential. 

In her spare time Lisa enjoys reading and walking her little dog Dexter.

Anjana Rai

Trainee Dental Nurse

Hi I’m Anjana, I joined Indigo Dental in 2022 as a trainee dental nurse, and currently working on completing my course to become a qualified dental nurse. Since joining Indigo Dental, I have gained and expanded my knowledge and skills within dentistry, I particularly enjoy dental implant nursing. It’s amazing seeing patient’s smiles being transformed, and the confidence they gain from it.

In my free time I love playing sports, cooking new recipes, travelling and learning new languages.

Malaika Javed

Trainee Dental Nurse

Hello, I’m Malaika. I joined Indigo Dental  in December 2022 as a trainee/apprentice dental nurse. I’m currently on the journey of working towards my dental nurse qualification. Since joining Indigo Dental, I’ve gained a lot of experience and skills while working in the dental world.

In my free time I love to bake! Cakes cookies and many sweet things as I have a massive sweet tooth.
